Hacked Off respond to Murdoch recall

Welcoming the decision – in response to a request from Hacked Off – for the Culture Select Committee to recall Rupert Murdoch following his being recorded talking to Sun journalists, Dr Evan Harris, Associate Director of Hacked Off said:
“The victims of press abuse, who Hacked Off represent, were appalled that Rupert Murdoch told Sun journalists that parts of the Leveson inquiry were over ‘next to nothing’. The Committee will need to ask him whether – when he showed remorse – he was lying to them or misleading his staff at the Sun. The MPs will also want to know why his newspapers are still rejecting the findings of the Leveson Inquiry and the will of Parliament over the press regulation Royal Charter.”

Hello- seeking an iv with senior hacked off person re latest re Murdoch. Not heard from your grp over here though many other reports as we – national public radio in NZ, equiv BBC – follow this story closely. Please advise – even to say no, so I can try elsewhere. Soon as would be good, albeit time zones are tricky.
The Time and Money that the Leveson Inquiry is Taking is just Typical!! They are all Guilty of Breaking Confidentiality and Writing things that are not True!! If it was a Member of Public the Axe would have Fallen Straight away!! Stop beating around the Bush and Lock them up for Good and Change the Law!!! No more Breaking Personal Confidents or Prying on the Vulnerable anymore…
